District 70
Attention! Sherwood & North Little Rock
Sanders Announces SPECIAL ELECTION to Fill Vacancy in Office for State Representative for District 70.
Sanders’ proclamation set the party primary elections for March 3rd, 2026.
Sanders has broken the law once again. Our district, District 70, will go 252 days without representation. The current law states that no district should go more than 150 days without representation. District 70, our voice matters, this repeated behavior of ignoring those in need and assuming that we would let it go is disrespectful. It starts with us speaking up…but that’s just our start!

“Enough with politics as usual. Our community deserves a representative who fights for the people, not the powerful.”
We’re building more than a run for office — we’re building a movement rooted in unity, integrity, and real representation. Led by Cordelia Smith-Johnson, a working mom, veteran, and unapologetic advocate for everyday Arkansans, this campaign is powered by us, the parents, teachers, veterans, workers, and neighbors who are tired of being ignored.
We’re not waiting for change.
We’re creating it! Together.
Because District 70 deserves leadership that listens, acts, and fights for all of us.
